Barney Pearson started Bramleywooddesign in 2008

specialising in bespoke designed and finnished handmade funiture using a variety of materials including reclaimed and sustainably resourced and recycled wood.        

 

                      

 

Having grown up and still living in Cornwall with a background in boatbuilding, both modern and traditional it is easy to feel passionate on a daily basis surrounded by beautiful landscapes and the sea.

studying the design of country house style furniture has inspired me to design and create beautiful furniture.

 

I am enthusiastic about the materials I use and have worked not only with stock wood, but other materials like pallets, wine boxes and fiberglass to make some original and individual pieces.  I am always on the hunt for unusual wood and materials and keep a stockpile to use in future projects.   I take pride in my attention to detail through every stage of my projects, from the design to the finished product.
